I did it using my thumbs on the edges. If this worked using scissors, you should be able to use your thumbs for even more torque.
Marlin is only for official diver specification ! Since 2019 (im not sure...around this year) diver specification had change and exige a battery life indicator for quartz watches (indicator can be a jumper second hand 5sec in 5 sec... or a gauge) . In 2 cases modification need a new movment... its very expensive in all production !

Something you might find interesting... on the watch caseback there is a footprint on the Moon picture. The footprint is from Buzz Aldrin when he stepped onto the Moon, at the Sea of Tranquility location. On my original Omega Speedmaster Moonphase 18k Gold watch... it's the same 😊 On the Swatch Snoopy Mission to the Moonphase, its Snoopy's Paw Print instead. Enjoy your new watch 👍
